We would like to welcome our newest member of Ware OH cc. Thanks To Fordham Heating Sponsorship for the 2008 season we have purchased a New Outfield Mower. This will be a great Asset for the club and especially the ground. Here she is in All her glory!
Ware OH cc Intra Club Game:
A big thank you to all of you who turned up for our pre season intra club game! The weather could not have been better, along with the turn out. At one stage there was 15 fielders and plenty of spectators. Here are some pictures from the day!

Memberships Now Due:
A Reminder to all Members that their Subs are due by the 30th of April 2008! Please send your cheques to Mike As soon as possible or alternatively catch Jon at the Nets: Thanks to all those who have paid in advance it helps the club out with Pre Season Payments and jobs that need doing!
Availabilities:
If you are wanting to Play any of the First Games of the season then your availability needs to be updated. If the captains do not know you are available then you may not get asked to play! This goes for Sunday Games as well!

A massive thank you to everyone who contributed over the weekend – it was a great team effort and a great success. At around 1.30 Sunday afternoon we finished painting the interior of the pavilion, hitting our target for the weekend. A special mention must go to Tom Ellaway and Matt Gilewicz who worked their socks off on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and to Simon Morgan and Steve Risby, who worked both days of the weekend. But it was great to see so many faces, wives, girlfriends and kids all helping out and contributing towards improving our cricketing environment. I’m sure everyone will agree the inside of the pavilion looks fresher and cleaner, with the patio and fenced area outside looking fantastic and really adding to the overall appearance of the pavilion.
There are pictures on the website , and we are also trying to sell (for a very small amount) the pool table – which is still in good nick (all offers welcome) – Tom E has pictures if anyone is interested.
We’re not finished…..
For those there at the weekend, you will know that we haven’t finished the patio. Matt G will be working at the ground this week to try and finish off. If anyone is available to help Matt, please call him on 07795314820 – your call will be very much appreciated!!

We are still seeking sponsors for the forthcoming season. Match sponsorship starts at £50 – see attached letter, but we are now in a position to negotiate prices. If anyone has any leads, please do contact Jon with any info
Ware OH CC Quiz:
Thanks to all who attended the 2008 Quiz night. We managed to raise £270 towards the Fundraisometer which is a great effort! We had 6 teams enter and a total of 35 people who attended. Many thanks to Wendy for arranging the Venue and Mike for the Quiz.

2007 Season in a Nutshell!
The End of another season is upon us. As with most seasons we have had our ups and downs. The First team had a sucessful season at one point looking to get promoted again! The seconds Sadly are heading towards Div 13. Not one of their greatest performances hampered by player availability and of course the "weather". The Sunday Team has had good sucess not only did they win a couple of games but they played a fair few as well! Without a doubt our greatest acheivement of the season was winning the Geddings league in style! Ware put in some fantastic performances throughout the competition and deserved to win!
A Season of Hatircks! A Hatrick used to be a rare thing in cricket but this season we have seen 4. Mark Batchelor claimed one of them, Will Jones with a glorious Hatrick against St Margaretsbury (geddings match) and Hugh Andrews in a 2nds League match and to finish the season off Matt Gilewicz at the 6 a side tournament! We have also seen great acheivements by other players..... Simon Morgan with his Maiden Club 50! Will Jones with His maided club 100! Will Jones taking 50 wickets in a season and over 700 Runs! And of course last but not least Darren Patel with his Maiden 50!
Over all it was another cracking season. Ware OH CC would like to thank everyone for participating in all of the teams. Not only the players but everyone behind the scenes as well. Julian for the Ground prep, various people for Tea's throughout the season, all of the comittee members and of course our chairman! We are all looking forward to next season allready! Keep an eye on the website for updates on the Winter training, and see you at the annual dinner dance!
Six A Side Sucess:
THANK YOU to all those who made the effort to come along to the 2007 Six a Side tournament. A Great day was had by all! With varying levels of skill in each side it was always going to be a comical day! The Eventual winners after a unbeaten 5 Game run were Julians "Pink Panthers". The Team consisted of Julian Pawle (cpt), Tom Ellaway (wk), Simon "Guten" Morgan, James Stebb, and Steve Mellors.
